If there's one thing we've learned, it's that life is just better with a little bit of chocolate, or a LOT of chocolate in fact... So here's a recipe that's as delightful to make as it is to devour. Drum roll, please! 🥁

This DIY vegan oat milk chocolate is so mesmerising, even the Milky Bar Kid would be tempted to change his name to the Oat Milky Bar Kid... Anyway, back to this incredible recipe created by @Rita.veg.life 🍫

Ingredients:

  • 🧈 40g of cocoa butter - cocoa butter is an essential ingredient in chocolate and can be bought online or at health food shops.
  • 🧂 20g of icing sugar - if you'd prefer a sugar free chocolate bar, use a sweetener like erythritol (25g).
  • 🥛 30g of oat milk powder - because what's oat milk chocolate without the oat milk? 
  • 🥜 10g of almond butter - a pinch of nutty wonder that adds creaminess.
  • 🍓 Sprinkle of freeze dried strawberries (optional) - For those who want a hint of berrylicious surprise!

Method:

  1. Create a hot water bath (glass bowl over a saucepan with simmering water in it), and let the cocoa butter melt into a luscious liquid. Remember, don't overheat it – we're aiming for chocolatey perfection, not a cocoa eruption!
  2. Stir in the oat milk powder and icing sugar to the molten cocoa butter. Watch as they perform their magic dance, dissolving into a velvety elixir.
  3. Introduce the almond butter to this enchanting concoction and whisk it all together thoroughly.
  4. Pour your molton chocolate into a mold of your choice. Feeling extra whimsical? Sprinkle a handful of freeze dried strawberries over the top to decorate.
  5. Allow the chocolate to set in the fridge for at least 20 minutes.
  6. Now take a small bite of the chocolate, good right? Now you know it's not poisonous... devour the whole bar!
